New Zeland won the final match against Australia by 3-1 goals in a penalty shootout, Initially both teams were tied 2-2 in regulation time of 60 minutes. New Zeland won Sultan Azlan Shah Cup for second time since the inception of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup competition in 1983. Australia is eight-time champion as it has won the cup in 1983, 1996, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2011, 2013 and 2014.
India won Bronze Medal by beating south Korea by 4-1 in the penalty shoot-out Roll of Honour:
